I’m Jessica Nitti, a recent broadcast journalism graduate now based in New York City and working in national news.

I’m a New York–based media professional with national newsroom experience supporting live television broadcasts in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. I currently work as a Production Assistant at Fox News Media, where I support a three-hour live national broadcast and take on a variety of roles each day, from tape PA and greenroom support to assisting producers in the control room to help ensure a seamless show.
My background includes hands-on experience in live production, rundown coordination, video editing, and guest logistics. I’m comfortable working with newsroom and production tools, including iNews, Avid, Adobe Creative Suite, Dalet, Jira, and Trint, as well as creating graphics and proofing video to ensure accuracy and quality before air.
Before my role at Fox, I worked in the newsroom at the University of Florida’s WUFT News. I interned with Sinclair’s The National Desk, where I produced live broadcasts, built rundowns, wrote scripts, and supported coverage across multiple platforms under tight deadlines.
I’m excited to continue growing in the media industry, particularly in behind-the-scenes roles that support storytelling, production, and newsroom operations. I’m drawn to environments that value collaboration, adaptability, and attention to detail, and I take pride in bringing a positive, team-first mindset to every project, regardless of the role.
I’m reliable, deadline-driven, and always eager to learn from the people around me. I’m ready to hit the ground running and would love to connect.
This newscast covers major headlines, including a deadly earthquake in Myanmar, the White House pulling Elise Stefanik’s nomination, a Cornell student’s visa revocation, and Vice President J.D. Vance’s visit to Greenland. I solo-produced this show at WUFT News, leading it from start to finish by stacking the rundown, writing scripts, creating graphics, selecting visuals, and managing breaking news under deadline.
This is a compilation of my on-air reporting work with WUFT News, featuring a selection of my live shots and packages. I pitched, wrote, shot, and edited all of these stories, highlighting my hands-on experience reporting in the field.
This is a collection of recordings from my internship at Sinclair's National Desk in Washington, D.C. I gained hands-on experience during a volatile political period, covering major stories like the attempted assassination of former President Trump and President Biden’s withdrawal from the race. I pitched and wrote stories, created graphics and lower thirds, and contributed to fast paced national news coverage.
